MATH PLACEMENT INFORMATION

The San Mateo-Foster City School District is working alongside the San Mateo Union High School District to establish math pathways for students in 6th – 12th grade in alignment with the Common Core State Standards (CCSS). The approved CCSS Math Pathways will be implemented at all our schools in the same manner to ensure equity and consistency of instruction and materials. The pathways allow opportunities for students to accelerate and support for students who may need more instruction to be successful. See the following documents for more information.

Used Uniforms

Has your child out-grown their polo shirts and pants? Are they still in good shape? Please wash them and bring them to school for our PTSA sale on Arena Day. Collection boxes are in the office. Thank you!

ABSENCES AND TRUANCY

Absences and Truancy

Parents please remember any pupil who is absent from school without valid excuse three full days is a truant and shall be reported to the attendance supervisor and receive a truancy letter.  A second letter will be sent after five unexcused absences and after 10 unexcused absences a SARB (School Attendance Review Board) meeting will be set up the district office.

Tardy Arrivals

Students are tardy at the 8:02 bell; please make sure your pupil is here before that time.  Any student tardy will receive a warning call home and then a half hour detention for every tardy after that call.  If you find that traffic backup on Kehoe is slowing punctual arrival, please consider parking your car 2-3 blocks away and walk you student into the school.  It's faster! It's healthier!

Zeros

Please check School Loop to keep track of current grades and zeros for your pupils.

Ausencias y absentismo
